Oxychloride zirconium is generally used as a raw material for zirconium compounds and is utilized in various applications as ceramics. Ninety percent of the oxychloride zirconium in Japan is imported. Our company has been importing and selling oxychloride zirconium from manufacturers with the largest production capacity in China for over 20 years, establishing a solid logistics and supply system. Its characteristic is low impurities. In particular, it can accommodate low iron content (see the specifications example below), which has the advantage of suppressing discoloration of products and distortion of electrical properties. Therefore, it is adopted by domestic manufacturers that produce and develop zirconium compounds, which are often required to be of high quality by end users, such as fine ceramics for the electronics field and dental materials where color is important.
